Yes, France has a waste oil recovery industry. IGOL lubricants are subject to the TGAP (General Tax on Polluting Activities) which finances recycling.
Few companies are accredited to recycle your used lubricants in compliance with the legislation. As a result, there are specialised disposal centres for recycling automotive motor oil. However, the type and quantities of used oil accepted are still restricted.
